Excellent knowledge of Italian.
The final exam will be written and will concern course contents. Attending students could discuss a research and this will be 30% of the final grade.
During the course we will discuss the specificities of public and institutional communication, evaluating the main choices in terms of register and vocabulary choices. The second part of the course is aimed at improving the communicative skills of the students with regard to oral and written communication in public contexts. The topics of specialized languages, bureaucratic Italian, the contrast to the sexist uses of the language and the choices for an accessible and inclusive communication will be discussed.
