Basic knowledge of human anatomy and physiology
Oral examination, evaluating at first general aspects and global comprehension of the program, to subsiquently deepen into the different disciplines.
To acquire knowledge of the actual state of the art concerning techniques and technologies applied to orthopaedic and trauma, ENT and plastic-reconstructive surgeries.
Biotechnologies and surgical techniques applied to plastic and reconstructive surgery: basic techniques, physiopathology and degenerative, traumatic, neoplastic, malformative pathology; hand, post-bariatric and aesthetic surgery.
ENT surgery: Multimedia integrated OR and 2D, 3D, HD endoscopes; neuronavigation systems, robotic surgery; facial bones reconstruction.
Orthopedic and trauma surgery: Joint resurfacing (Hip, Knee, Shoulder, etc.), Osteosynthesis focusing on devices, materials, techniques and biomechanics. Physiology of bone healing and bone grafts strategies. Biomaterials in orthopedics. Elements of guided, navigated and robotic surgeries.
Complimentary multimedial notes will be distributed during lessons
"ex cathedra" lessons with the support of multimedia presentations, that will be given to the students for individual study.
