Physiopathology and clinical aspects of the most prevalent neurological diseases, with particular focus on cranio-cerebral entities related to the general interest of dentistry.
Main neurological syndromes: sign and symptoms of motor and sensory dysfunction/damage, communicative disorders, cognitive disturbances, acute neurological disorders. Basic information about the main neurological disorders of the peripheral nervous system. Diagnostic criteria and treatment of most epidemiologically-relevant neurological disorders: cerebrovascular, epilepsia, dementias, movement disorders.
Focus on cranial nerves pathology, headache and related disorders.
