The student will progressively acquire autonomy and professional responsibility in managing the therapeutic activity aimed at the patient. In particular, it must be able to:

Prevention: preventing musculoskeletal problems for themselves and patients; constantly comply with the safety and hygiene standards learned in the various rehabilitation settings

Care and rehabilitation: taking care of the patient and implementing the therapeutic program from the acceptance to the measurement of the results, choosing and implementing, with supervision, tests and appropriate therapeutic exercises taking into account the EBP; demonstrate skills in identifying problems (problem setting) and in solving them (problem solving).

Therapeutic education: draw up an educational plan with supervision and implement it with the patient, family members / care-givers also through information tools and group activities.

Training / self-training: contributing responsibly to the definition of the internship contract; carry out self-assessments on the performances learned with critical ability, requesting and accepting feedback from physiotherapists; make themselves available for in-depth analysis and changes to their actions.

EBP: research and consider the best available evidence to guide in clinical decisions, combining them with experience, theoretical rationale, patient values ​​and feasibility in the organizational context (Evidence Based Health Care).

Professional responsibility: to adhere to the principles of ethics and correctness learned (the deontological code of the physiotherapist) towards patients, their caregivers and the professionals they meet; take responsibility for your own actions.

Management: demonstrating reliability, availability, initiative and sensitivity to interdisciplinary work; organize and implement your work plan in accordance with the times and the different activities (clinical work, thesis, research)

Communication / relationship: demonstrating active listening and communication skills (verbal and non-verbal) in all contexts and towards all the people met.
