To provide basic knowledge of the pathophysiology, and the clinical treatment of of the female genital diseases.

The teaching aims to learn the basis of plastic surgery and the correct approach to the disease involved. Students must demonstrate that they have understand the basis of the plastic surgery technique and the healing mechanisms in the different types of reconstruction. Students must demonstrate that they can think in term of the discipline using the acquired knowledge.

Principles of etiology, diagnosis, differential diagnosis, and therapy of the most common gynecological disorders. Adnexal masses and endometriosis, benign tumors of the uterus and uterine myomas, Normal pregnancy, mother''s adaptation and puerperium; ultrasound, diagnosis, and monitoring of fetal growth; indications and techniques of prenatal diagnosis. Labor and vaginal delivery.
