Basic environmental chemistry: pollutant classes, mechanisms of pollutant transport, bioaccumulation and biomagnification (8 h).
Sampling and sample treatment methods: sampling schemes, sampling of solids, liquids, gases and aerosols, sample stabilization and treatment prior to analysis (8 h).
In situ and on line measurements: in situ analytical methods and environmental monitoring (4 h).
Standard analytical methods in environmental analysis: standardisation of analytical methods, international standards, quality control and quality assurance (4 h).
