-The same prerequisites of the Medical School VI year are requested.
Testing is an oral test
-Students should acquire the behaviour principles pertinent to them to correctly face emergency conditions, according to international scientific guidelines. Students should learn how to recognize, to monitor and to treat life-threatening conditions: 1. Be able to make diagnosis and establish first treatment of sepsis and multi-organ failures; 2. Be able to evaluate and establish the initial treatment in shock, acute respiratory failure, coma, anaphylaxis, intra-cranial hypertension; 3. Be able to correctly administer oxygen therapy and non-invasive ventilation; be able to correctly prescribe artificial nutrition; be able to identify the criteria for ICU admission
-Early warning signals and evaluation of the critical patient
-Acute respiratory failure and Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome
