Inferential statistics: resumption of the hypothesis test concept for mean and prevalence (2 hours)
Confusion and bias in clinical trials (2 hours)
Correlation, association, regression, causality (2 hours)
Absolute measures of disease: prevalence, odd, risk, and hazard. Relative measures of association: relative risk, odds ratio and hazard ratio. Point estimates and confidence intervals (4 hours)
Statistics for the meta-analysis of individual studies (2 hours)
Lecture notes on e-learning, and examples from scientific literature.
Lectures live or remotely (depending on the pandemic situation) with readings of scientific papers taken from the literature.
