SURGICAL PATHOLOGY 2
Knowledge related to the preparatory courses indicated in the regulations of the degree course, in particular anatomy, physiology and semiotics.
Written test and oral exam. In order to pass the written test and to access the oral exam, the student must obtain a minimum score of 18/30, in at least 3 of 4 questions. The exam will focus on the program of the of integrated course, aiming to evaluate: knowledge and understanding (25%), ability to apply knowledge and capacity of understanding (25%),judgement (15%), communicative skills (15%) and learning ability (20% ),in relation to the theoretical and practical bases of surgical pathology (natural history, diagnostic methods and prognostic guidelines of diseases of surgical interest). One final score for the integrated course.
To reach a complete knowledge on the etiology, pathophysiology and natural history of the main acute and chronic diseases of general surgical interest.
To acquire the basic knowledge of: diagnosis and treatment of the main vascular and heart disease of surgical interest; natural history, diagnostic methods and prognostic guidelines of surgical diseases of the thoracic organs; pathophysiology, natural history, diagnostic methods, prognostic guidelines and principles of surgical therapy of digestive diseases.
