Strongly recommended the knowledge of the following subjects: Microbiology applied to the environment; Inorganic and organic chemistry; Sanitary environmental engineering; Hydraulics.

Final Examination:
Scritto e Orale Congiunti

Written exam: 5 questions with open answer (max 25/30) and 5 questions with multiple choice (max 5/30 with a little penalty in case of mistake), 1 hour and a half. The examination will be based on all the topics of the course and both applying knowledge and communication skills/making judgements will be evaluated.
Just the students regularly enrolled in the exam will be admitted.
General rules of behaviour to be adopted during examination and how to reject a mark will be explained by Prof. Eng. Cristiana Morosini before the examination itself and during frontal lectures.

Assessment:
Voto Finale

- Knowledge and understanding: law understanding; knowledge of the most widespread technologies for the characterization, remediation and management of contaminated sites; achievement of the administrative and procedure steps to follow in case of site contamination.
- Applying knowledge and understanding: risk assessment; Best Available Technologies for contaminated sites remediation.
Communication skills and making judgements will be acquired as well.
