PATHOPHYSIOLOGY OF REPRODUCTION
To be able to follow this course and to achieve the requested skills, the student should have prior knowledge achieved from previous courses.
The course will provide students with an in-depth knowledge of physiology related to major clinically relevant pathologies and topics in human reproduction. Upon completion of this course, the student will demonstrate in-depth knowledge in common problems and diseases of the reproductive system in females.
The course will deal with the following contents:
• Menstrual disorders
• Abnormal uterine bleeding
• Infertility
• Assisted reproductive technology
• Uterine myomas and reproduction
• Uterine malformations and reproduction
• Recurrent miscarriage
• Endocrine disruptors
• Fertility preservation in cancer patients
