Modulo di zoologia
In the course of Zoology the issues of evolution and speciation will be addressed Emphasis will be placed on the reproduction and sexuality, on cycles and reproductive strategies as well as the parental cares. The phylogeny and main criteria for the animal groups classification will be treated. Will also be presented the organization, reproduction and sexuality in Protists. Traits on the Metazoa taxonomic groups will be provided: the early stages of embryonic development, the appearance of body cavities, and origin of Protostomia and Deuterostomia. Description of animal phyla will take place with particular regard to the organization, adaptation and phylogenetic relationships.

Modulo di biologia applicata alla cellula animale
Students will acquire bases of biological processes with particular regard to cells. Particularly, the knowledge of cell structure, cellular processes and organization of tissues and physiology of animal systems will be acquired

Modulo di zoologia
The evolution of life and animal biodiversity
The Darwinian approach, evolution, phylogeny and hierarchical classification, domains and kingdoms of life
Species, and systematic classification and cellular organization
Meaning and mechanisms of reproduction, gametogenesis and animal development

Modulo di biologia applicata alla cellula animale
