The exam consists of an oral interview aimed at the assessment of acquisition and correct understanding of the contents of the course. On the contents of each of the main authors in the program, a question will be asked about which the knowledge of the subject, the ability to exhibit and the critical analysis will be evaluated. The final vote will take into account accuracy and quality of the answers (60%) as well as communicative ability and ability to properly motivate statements, analyzes and judgments shown during the interview (40%).

The course will provide the tools to deepen some of the main expressive techniques of the media language, focusing on the specific case of the relationship between the media language and the common Italian, analyzing the various functions, changes and complexities of the communicative modalities.

Practical and scientific analysis of the variety of the media language and communication: radio, TV, cinema, paper and on-line newspapers, comic strips, advertising, song, digital telematics scripts and various forms of interaction on web (email, sms, chat, blog, social networking, etc.).
