The University of Insubria's Open Day 2022 is devoted to Ukraine: the country's flag colours embrace the campus logo on t-shirts worn by the organising staff during the open day on 9th April in Varese and Como.

The T-shirts and mugs for Ukraine are the first products of the new Made Insubria merchandising line, focusing on sustainability and circular economy issues, which will be presented in the coming weeks. The products can only be purchased via e-commerce, on www.uninsubria.it (through a channel currently being activated) and on a dedicated page belonging to Cse Print company.

The 'Insubria for Ukraine' T-shirt costs 15 euros, and the mug 12.50 euros. A percentage of the proceeds will be donated to Fondazione Comunitaria del Varesotto and Fondazione Comasca to support Ukrainian refugee relief projects run by Fondazione Cariplo.

In the meantime, Insubria, in accordance with the Ministry of University, the Conference of Rectors and the Network of Italian Universities for Peace guidelines, has launched a project to provide orientation and hospitality to Ukrainian students and researchers, allowing them, among other things, to attend individual degree courses free of charge. The first guests have already arrived at the university's colleges. Dedicated conferences and initiatives are described on www.uninsubria.it/Ucraina.
