Second semester teaching activities

Monday 21st February marks the start of the second semester for most of the study courses at University of Insubria according to COVID Protocol rules dated 1st February, published on the University website at www.uninsubria.it/coronavirus.

Lecturers will have to carry out their activities in classrooms/laboratories and students will be able to attend, after booking through the Student Booking application, within the limits of COVID capacity of the available classrooms/laboratories. Mixed teaching will allow students to follow the activities also at a distance, through Teams platform.

Below, we remind all students the key instructions contained in the document.

GREEN PASS, DISTANCING AND MASKS
In order to access university facilities, it is mandatory to

  • be in possession of COVID-19 green certification;
  • comply with the rules and regulations for the prevention and containment of COVID-19 infection, i.e. interpersonal distance, hand and personal hygiene, constant use of the mask worn in all university areas, strict hygiene of rooms and surfaces, adequate ventilation in closed environments.

MIXED MODE LECTURES: DISTANCE AND FACE-TO-FACE

  • The student must book a place for each lesson he/she intends to attend in person, even if they are held in the same classroom, using the Student Booking application
  • In any case, students will not be allowed access without a reservation.
  • Once the available places have been used up, the lessons can only be attended remotely.

PRACTICAL ACTIVITIES (EXERCISES/LABS/FIELD ACTIVITIES)

  • Curricular practical training activities must be rescheduled and, where possible, delivered remotely, upon indication of the lecturers responsible for the activity.
  • The activities that cannot be delivered remotely may be carried out in the classroom by dividing the students into groups taking turns according to the capacity of the teaching laboratories or the environment in which the activities take place.
  • Attendance at teaching laboratories will be allowed after booking a place through the Student Booking application
  • In order to carry out practical activities in the University facilities (research laboratories, other spaces dedicated to practical activities) that cannot be booked through the Student Booking application, the Academic Offices will send the names of the students authorised to access the facilities to the competent departments.
