Place of teaching: Como - Università degli Studi dell'Insubria

Admission requirements

The Master’s Course in Physics is open to:

  • first-level graduate students with a degree in Physics (in Italy, class L30 or a corresponding degree according to D.M. 509/99);
  • first-level graduate students with a scientific degree obtained in an Italian University and graduate students from abroad with a diploma considered valid.

Admission to the Master’s course requires verification of the students’ preparation, particularly for those who do not hold a first-level degree in Physics, on topics such as classical and quantum physics, matter physics and nuclear and particle physics. The committee will interview the students and also verify that their knowledge of English is at the B2 level, if no certification is provided.
In case of an incomplete preparation, the committee will advise on how to integrate the missing areas, indicating the number of credits that must be acquired before being admitted to the Master’s course.
