This page provides frequently updated information to the entire Academic community, complete with the documents of the national and local health authorities that stated the precautionary measures taken by the University.
In compliance with the indications of the Ministry, the Lombardy Region and the Conference of Rectors of the Italian universities regarding the containment of the Coronavirus COVID-19, the University of Insubria also implements the necessary precautionary measures, to protect citizenship.
Below, you will find the necessary information on how to use the services for the next few weeks, focused on the user profile.

Protocol for the safe management of teaching and research activities: updated
The measures adopted by the University were updated according to the most recent national regulations, and as previously communicated.

Free, but responsible!
From May 2, 2022, access to the University is free without showing the Green Pass or undergoing body temperature checks.
However, the use of surgical masks is still strongly recommended.
For events open to the public, other than ordinary teaching activities, hosted in university classrooms, the use of an FP2 type mask is compulsory until 15th June .
Students will continue to use the Student Booking (SBK) seat reservation system (in Italian).
In the next few days, the "University Protocol for the safe management of teaching and research activities" will be updated accordingly.

Published the Protocol for the safe management of teaching and research activities
The measures adopted by the University were updated at the end of the emergency, according to the most recent national regulations, and are valid from today.
In particular, as regards the methods of access to university:
- the possession of a basic Green Pass will be required until April 30th;
- the capacity of classrooms and break rooms is restored to 100%, but it will still be necessary to reserve your seat to access lessons and events;
- the vaccination obligation for all structured university staff, teachers and administrative technicians is extended to June 15, with the exception of only those exempted for the cases provided for by the legislation (for details, consult the Protocol);
- to participate to events (concerts, demonstrations, seminars), conferences, congresses or ceremonies, the possession of a reinforced Green Pass will still be required.

From September 1st “Green Pass” is mandatory to enter the University facilities
According to the last Italian government provisions, starting from September 1st 2021, onsite teaching and training activities will be available to students holding a “Green Pass” only. The green pass must be shown when entering the University facilities.

Our students and prospects
December 30th, 2021
Monday 10th January sees the opening of exams' winter session for most of the University of Insubria's study courses.
Exam session in person or remotely at lecturers' discretion, according to Covid Protocol's terms in effect since December 30th 2021.
